Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing, or Forest Therapy, is inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, meaning “bathing in the forest atmosphere.” Backed by scientific research, this practice has been shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and boost mood and well-being.

Unlike a typical hike or walk, forest therapy is a slow, mindful experience—an invitation to wander, wonder, and reconnect with nature on a deeper level. It’s a gentle inner journey that awakens our senses and nurtures our connection to the natural world.

Nature offers us peace, healing, and clarity. When we slow down and truly connect, we rediscover our place within it and tap into its powerful ability to support our emotional and physical health. Forest therapy can also help balance the body’s energy and foster a deeper spiritual awareness.

As your guide, my goal is to help you reawaken your senses—touch, sight, smell, sound, and even taste—much like a curious child experiencing the world for the first time. These walks are gentle, filled with pauses, and last about 2 hours.

Please dress in layers and check the weather to stay comfortable. The exact meeting location will be shared upon registration.

Come walk with me—immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest and begin your journey back to yourself.
